"Consummation requires
Sanctification"
According to Jewish wedding traditions -
Once a couple is betrothed they fully commit to marry each
other. It is "now" the Grooms responsibility to go and prepare a
place for them live and to consummate this new relationship as
husband and wife. It is "now" the Brides responsibility to
remain faithful and to prepare herself (to remain without spot,
blemish or wrinkle) to be ready at all times for His return. She
must now come out and leave behind her place to become one with
her betrothed as his wife forever. Direct and focused attention
is required by both parties for the marriage to take place. If
you are really betrothed to Christ - then your part is clear
while you wait for Him to return.
