One of the first signs of war is for the aggressor nation to call it's ambassador home, before striking at the targeted nation.

The Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak was called home on June 26, 2017.

Although the news story sounds homesy-folksy (all is well),
It is this authors belief that it is Not all well.

With North Korea threatening ICBMs at the West and her forces;
and with Russian Nuclear Subs along our western Coast that can fire ICBMs from submerged submarines (sent down from Alaska where they successfully fired an SLBM -- submarine launched Ballistic Missile.) just a few weeks ago.....
there is certainly an atmosphere of war pending.

But we are in a deep sleep and cannot be awakened.

Our Lord has a controversy with the nations and there is war pending    ( Revelation 12.)

Before the wrath of God falls upon rebellious earth, God will call His ambassadors home...  His ardent Believers who have always trusted in Him.

We ambassadors need to get packing and get out of the way by going to be with our Redeeming Lord as told in
1 Thessalonians 4: 13--18 and also in
2 Thessalonians 1: 7,8.
