are enraptured with the Song of Songs as a resource and
this ties several things together wonderfully, enjoy:
Oh,
how I love the sound of the Cooing of Doves! All the
'buzz' around these times which we are part of, is
described, by our Bridegroom, as the "cooing of doves"
being "heard in our land" (SoS 2:12). What is even
BETTER is that the “cooing of the doves”, itself, is ONE
OF THE THINGS TO LOOK FOR in watching for His
coming! Follow this unpacking of a Song of
Solomon Rapture connection:
Matt.
16:4 (NIV): "A wicked and adulterous generation looks
for a sign, but none will be given it except THE SIGN OF
JONAH." Jesus then left them and went away."
Jonah
means DOVE. As we unpack the many layers of this
revelation by our Lord, ONE of them to look for is the
sign of the Dove, the ONLY one given now.
Now
peer into Song of Songs 2. Picking relevant spots
for brevity, look at the connection to the dove and the
season, (emphasis MINE in spots):
(She): My beloved spoke and said to me, “ARISE, my darling, my
beautiful one, COME WITH ME. 11 See! The WINTER
IS PAST … 12 the
COOING OF THE DOVES IS HEARD IN OUR LAND … 13 ARISE, COME, my darling; my
beautiful one, COME WITH ME.”
(He): 14 My DOVE IN THE CLEFTS OF THE
ROCK, …
Notice ONE
dove hiding in cleft S? How does one dove
hide in several places at once? His dove, His bride,
is His Body, existing, at once, in His believers,
everywhere, hidden in the cleft which HE PUT THEM INTO! :
Ex 33:22
(NIV) When my glory passes by, I WILL PUT YOU IN A
CLEFT IN THE ROCK and cover you with my hand until I have
passed by.
So, we are His
doves, hidden by Him in the cleft in the rock which is
Christ, until he passes by and we are called to ‘Arise’
and ‘Come’. Our watching and speaking together about
the signs and diligently babbling on about every little
nugget and detail of our Wise Men Journey is, to His ears,
“the cooing of (His) doves being heard in our land”.
He tells us to be excited to SEE that Summer is HERE,
yay! He tells us to hear the ‘cooing of (His) doves”
and SEE that it is PROOF that summer is hear and He is
nigh! Get that? Our very labor of love here at
Five Doves and everywhere else, is cited BY OUR LORD as
EVIDENCE of the SEASON WE ARE IN and that His Spirit is
moving amongst us to stir us to His impending
arrival! Well, I think that those of us truly
on this Wise Men Journey are very, very excited indeed!
