The Ten Horns

     "And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings," Daniel 7:24.  
Introduction
     In the Bible Study I sent out on June 28th, The Slaughter of the Innocents, and the Future of America, I explicitly stated that Ameria will soon cease to be a nation, regardless of whether some want to believe it or not. America as a nation and people appear to have not learned anything from the atrocities committed by the Nazi's in the Second World War, and rather have emulated those atrocities by "legalizing" abortion; the callous killing of the innocent unborn.  
     Of course some critics are denouncing my study, claiming that America is the greatest "Christian" nation in human history, and God will never destroy "this great nation."  Hogwash!   Double hogwash!
     America was indeed founded on Christian principles, but since the Second World War the people of America have turned away from those principles "big time."  So much so, that a recent President publicly stated that America "is no longer a Christian nation."  He couldn't have been more correct!  
     I sincerely thank my critics, for your criticism gives me the incentive to set forth what God's inspired Word actually and literally says about a subject. If America is not judged by God for their apostasy, and for the  atrocities committed against the innocent unborn, then like Billy Graham said, "God needs to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah."  Now every true believer knows that is not going to happen.  
      But in this study I will give our readers another Scriptural reason why America, as a nation, is very soon going to cease to exist.  
Introducing the Ten Horns
     The "ten horns" are first mentioned in the prophetic Word of God in Daniel 7:7.  I suggest reading the entire chapter.  It is explicitly stated in Daniel 7:24 that the "ten horns.....are ten kings that shall arise."  In other words, they were future "kings" for they had not arisen at the time Daniel gave the prophecy, and they still have not yet come on the world scene.  But since we are now living in "the last days," they shall soon be appearing.....  
     To fully understand the significance of these "ten horns," those readers who seriously study Bible prophecy need to go forward to the Book of Revelation.   The "ten horns" are only referred to in Daniel and Revelation, four times in Daniel, and seven times in Revelation.  
     In John's vision in Revelation, we are told that these "ten horns" are in the possession [under the control and influence] of.......
[1] "a great red dragon," 12:3.
[2] "a beast" who rises up out of the sea [of humanity], 13:1.
[3] "the great whore that sitteth upon many waters," 17:1; 17:3; 17:7; 17:15.   
     So the inspired Scriptures clearly verify that these "ten horns" are in the possession, and under the influence and control of, Satan, 12:9, and also the "beast" [one world government headed up by the anti-christ],  13:1; 13:4-7, and also the one-world religious system headed up by "the great whore,"  located in one certain "city" on the Earth, 17:1-7; 17:18.
     Humm!!!  Now what "city" do you suppose that could be?
Defining the Ten Horns
     What literally are the "ten horns?"  
     In Daniel's vision, it is simply stated that the "ten horns" "are ten kings that shall arise...," Daniel 7:24.  But what kings?  And what kingdoms do they rule over?  Kings are rulers over certain areas of the Earth.  So what countries are these "ten kings" going to rule over?  We are not told the answers in the vision of Daniel.  
A Little History
     1973 was a fascinating and pivotal year for several reasons.  That was the year the Supreme Court of America "legalized" the cold-blooded murder of the innocent unborn, today commonly called "abortion."  
      But 1973 was also the year that The Club of Rome took a world map and, in view of their plans for the future of the world, actually and literally divided the whole world into just ten nations [ten kingdoms].  Since that time, they have been working feverishly to bring to pass their divisions of the whole world into only ten nations [ten horns].
     Notice that this was done by The Club of Rome.  Now does any reader really believe that the Roman Pope has no input or influence in the Club of Rome, or in anything else that goes on in "his" city?  Any reader who does not believe that the Pope was involved in this division of the nations by the Club of Rome, needs to contact me at once. I have a "real deal" for you on purchasing the Brooklyn Bridge.  Sic!   
     As far as I am concerned this clearly identifies the city and the identify of "the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:  With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication...," Revelation 17:1-15.  It is also glaringly obvious that the Roman Pope has intentions of bringing this one-world government of "ten horns" under his rule and direction.  
     In view of the time we are living right now, this is not at all an unjust accusation on my part against the Pope.   This very past week, the Pope of the Holy Roman Catholic Church petitioned the United Nations Organization to create an Ecumenical Department of Religion, which would bring all religions in the entire world into a one-world religious governing body.  Now who do you suppose the Pope has in mind to be the Director or Administrator of that one-world religious body?
     The Response
     What do our readers think will be the response of the United Nations Organization to the Pope's request?  Folks, it is glaringly obvious that many nations around the world, espcially in South America, are dominated by the Catholic religion. Each of those nations has a vote in the U.N.  Therefore, if this petition of the Pope is ever brought to vote before the United Nations, there is little doubt that the U.N. would vote to establish such a one-world religious body.  
     Wake up folks!  It is much later on God's prophetic calendar than most people want to believe.   
The Result
     When, not "if," the nations of the whole world are divided into just ten kingdoms ["ten horns"], it doesn't take much intelligence to understand that the United States of America will cease to be an independent nation, and will become a part of one of those ten nations.  
     "Oh no! The American people would not allow this to happen.  They would go to war to prevent it."  Well, isn't that an interesting thought?  
     It just so happens that Daniel's vision clearly records that three of the "ten horns" do rise up against "another little horn" which comes up among the "ten horns."  These three  "horns" are defeated and "rooted up" [totally destroyed].   Will America be one of these three "horns" which will be totally destroyed?   I do not know!   The names of these countries are not given in the Scriptures.  But the Scriptures are quite clear that three of these " ten horns" will be totally destroyed.  
      Dear readers, I am not making up or presuming any of this!   You can read it all for yourself in Daniel 7.  Especially notice 7:5, 7:8, 7:20, and 7:24.   
Conclusion  
     It is then obvious that the "ten horns" represent or typify the New World Order, or one-world government.  Three of the "ten horns" will apparently resist this world government, and will be totally destroyed.  The prophesied anti-christ will gradually gain control over the entire world system, Daniel 11:21-23.  This will happen by the middle of the Tribulation, and the anti-christ will then rule over the whole world for "forty two months," Revelation 13:5.  These "forty-two months" will be the last half of the Tribulation period.  
     Now folks, the terrible Tribulation period is staring mankind in the face right now.   These events I have wrote about could begin at any minute of any day now, clearly signaled to start by and immediately follow the pre-tribulation resurrection and rapture of all true New Covenant believers, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.  
     My question for every reader is, "Are you ready?  Really ready?"  If not, why not?   Father God has already provided the way of salvation in giving His Son to pay the sin debt of mankind, and to save all who will believe, John 3:16; Acts 16:30-31; Ephesians 2:8-10.  There is no other way to escape these terrible things which are coming on the Earth, Luke 21:25-26; 21:36.  If you have never been truly saved, as you are reading these words, won't you bow your head right now, confess your sin to the Lord in prayer, and ask the Lord Jesus to come into your heart and life and save your soul?   I'm personally praying for every reader of this study, but I cannot be saved for you.  You have to ask the Lord for yourself, for His great salvation.  May the Lord God grant every reader His grace is my prayer.   I want to meet you in glory real soon.   Please don't disappoint me.
