Amazing August

     "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh," Luke 21:28.
Introduction
     July has been an interesting month, with various "signs" occurring which the Lord told His people to "watch" for.  But if our readers think July was interesting, just imagine, if you can, what the month of August is going to bring.  
     July is the 7th month on our American calendar.  "7" is the number in the Bible which signifies, "to bring to an end; to fill up; to finish; to complete."  But August is the 8th month on our calendar.  "8" is the number in the Bible which signifies, "new birth; new beginning; a change; new course."  So with the transition from July to August what kind of change can we expect or look for?
The Month of August
     Since I was a small child, I have known that the month of August is always the hottest month in the year.  So add to this the events which are already scheduled for this month, and August is indeed going to be the hottest month this year in more ways than mere temperature.
     The 9th Day of Av.......The very first day of August on our calendar is the 9th day of Av on the Jewish calendar.  Av is the fifth month on the sacred calendar given to Israel by the Lord God in Exodus 12.  However, it is the 11th month on Israel's civil calendar, which the Israelite people still commonly use today.  "11" is the number in God's Word which signifies, "judgment; to judge; to bring to judgment."  Hello!  
     All kinds of terrible things have happened to Israel and the Jewish people throughout their history on the 9th day of Av.  So many bad things have happened to them on this day, that the Jewish people label the 9th of Av as "Destruction Day," or "Death Day."  What will then happen this year, on the first day of August on our calendar?  I haven't the slightest idea!   However, according to reports I have received, Israel is anticipating a war to break out at any minute with their enemies.  If this happens,  then what more likely day for it to happen than on the 9th day of Av?
     Global Warming.......Our readers may or may not be aware that for the past 10 to 20 years solar flares have been exploding off the surface of the Sun; huge explosions on the Sun, throwing off massive amounts of electro-magnetic energy and extremely hot gases into space.  Some astronomers believe that these explosions on the Sun have contributed greatly to global warming on the earth; that space itself is heating up.  Again, some readers may not be aware that one of these huge explosions on the Sun occurred just this past Sunday, July 23rd.  The astronomers who observed it, stated that it would have been a "killer" flare, if it had exploded towards the earth.  In other words, had that explosion made a direct hit on the earth, it would have totally destroyed the earth and every living thing on it.  By the grace and mercy of God, every explosion that has occurred so far on the Sun has flared out into space in some direction other than where the earth was located in space at the time.  
     But will these explosions on the Sun continue to miss the earth?  I don't know the answer to the question!  What I do know is that the inspired Word of God clearly states at least five times that the earth is established "for ever."  Therefore, I am not concerned about the earth being consumed or destroyed by these solar explosions.  It will not be!
     However, this does not mean that one or more of these solar explosions may not come close enough to the earth, that those living on the earth at the time, may feel the effects from it, especially the heat.  In Malachi 4:1, the inspired Word explicitly states, "For, behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven: and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch."  
     Folks, this is stated so bluntly and clearly, that no reader should misunderstand what it is saying.  Global warming is for real, and it is gradually increasing all the time.  Let this be a warning to those who have yet to seek the Lord as their own personal Savior.     
     The World Economy.......As I write, professional economists are claiming that the world economic system is in the biggest mess it has been in since the Great Depression in the 1930's and 40's.  According to some economists, the world economy is teetering on the edge of imminent collapse, just as it was before it actually collapsed in 1929.  I have received reports that some economists are actually expecting a collapse of the world economic system between August 17th and 21st.  Hello!  Will this actually happen?  I don't know!   But if it does, will you be prepared for it?   Perhaps those who have been stockpiling food ever since the Y2K fiasco in 2000, will yet be glad that they did!  
     The Solar Eclipse.......Surely all of our readers know about the solar eclipse that is coming on August 21st?   The news about it has been so widespread that every reader should know about it. Such an eclipse of the Sun was even predicted in the inspired Word in Acts 2:20, "The Sun shall be turned into darkness, and the Moon into blood, before that great and notable "day of the Lord" come."  The expression, "day of the Lord" is used over and over again in the prophetic Scriptures in reference to the seven year Tribulation period.  Here then, Christ Himself said that "The Sun shall be turned into darkness" before the "day of the Lord" comes, and that is exactly what is about to happen.
       What this solar eclipse will do is plunge the middle of America into total darkness as the Sun passes over America on August 21st, traveling from the Northwest to the Southeast across America.  My understanding is that pitch black darkness will last about two hours in each state or area over which the Sun is passing due to the revolutions of the earth.  What a time for mass demonstrators, rioters, thieves and robbers, to take advantage of the darkness to prey upon the poor, the helpless, and the general public.  May our gracious Lord have mercy upon us!  
     Massive Earthquakes.......As I pointed out in my recent Bible study, "The Sign of the Lord's Coming," the whole earth is right now shaking like a bowl of Jello.  There have been hundreds of earth tremors in just the past month or so, and they are still continuing.  It appears that they are increasing in both frequency and intensity.  Read Matthew 24:7-8.  
     Is it possible that a major massive earthquake could cut loose on the 9th day of Av, August 1st on our calendar?  Or on the day the whole world economy collapses on or about August 17th?  Or during the coming solar eclipse on August 21st?  I don't know whether such will occur or not, but, yes, it is possible, and our readers should be "watching" and "praying"  like the Lord Jesus commanded us to do, Matthew 26:41.  
     Planet X or Nibiru.......Oh yes!   Let's not forget about this rogue planet wandering in our solar system.  Just this week I received a long, detailed video about this planet, detailing where it is at, and the distinct possibility that it will come flying past the earth during the month of August.  
     Some think this whole thing about Planet X has been a joke from the beginning.  It absolutely has not!   I have personally been keeping track of this thing since it was first discovered in 1983, and I have a file on it now four inches thick.  
     I would remind our readers that it was the Lord Jesus Christ Himself who said that "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away," Matthew 24:35.   The expression, "pass away," which I have underlined in this Scripture, is a total mistranslation.  Look up the Greek words used, and study their use throughout the New Testament for yourself.  This expression in the Greek text literally means, "pass by" or "go past." And this same expression is used this way in other places in the New Testament.  In other words, the Lord Himself said that something in the heavens above would come flying right past the earth.  Now considering the time period we are living in right now, what else could the Lord have been referring to other than Planet X, or as some call it, Nibiru?
     Folks, when this rogue planet comes flying right past the earth, the electro-magnetic fields of the two planets will clash like nothing mankind has ever previously seen.  There will be gigantic earthquakes tearing up the continents and islands, and gigantic tidal waves [tsunamis] washing over whole continents.  Yes, a repeat similar to "the days of Noah," Luke 17:26-27.  And if the brother is correct in his analysis, this may occur during the month of August.  
     If it does, I most certainly expect the resurrection and rapture to occur first.   Are you ready?           
Conclusion
     Have I given my readers enough information to make them aware that the month of August could be a great turning point in Bible prophecy?  This next month could be the month when our Lord comes to take His Church and His people "home" to glory.   Maybe it will be!   Maybe it won't!  I am not setting any dates, or making any dogmatic conclusions.  But without apology to anyone, I hope with a fervent desire, that our Lord will come for His people, yea, before this present month ends, or within this next month of August.  
     Folks, I am tired of living in "this present evil world," Galatians 1:4.  I am not ashamed of wanting out of this world of sin and wickedness.  No, of course I haven't reached a state of perfection myself in my present fleshly body, yet that is exactly what I hope and know that I will reach when our Lord comes, 1 Corinthians 15:49; 15:53-54; 1 John 3:1-3; Philippians 3:20-21.  This ought to be "the blessed hope" of every true believer reading this study, Titus 2:11-15.  It is certainly my "blessed hope," and I pray that it is, or will become yours, Ephesians 2:8-10.
