This year's slogan is " Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All ". It's worth reading the article in the link. The Secretary-General will be ringing the Peace Bell on September 15th. There is a lot more information in the article, but in short, the general theme is uniting the world in welcoming refugees from wherever. It's a pile of schmaltz. It's not that I don't feel sympathy for my fellow man, but this bilge is fake and insincere. A psychological laying on of dollops guilt. At the expense of common sense. Be that as it may - it certainly ties in with everything else that's happening. Rosh Hashanna - the Revelation 12 sign - the current war in the Middle East sending LOUD signals of Gog and Magog - the recent Temple Mount fiasco.......... and now, the United Nations declaring "Peace, respect and safety". Oh my days - it couldn't be more obvious. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 "While people are saying "Peace and Safety, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labour pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape ". Doves - This really may be the year of our blessed hope ! I fervently pray it is so.
