It was published on 7/7/17, (N.Z. time), under the pseudonym—J.B. Whitelaw-Stevens.It has been about four years since I last posted on Five Doves. During that time I have been engrossed in the process of getting my updated book published in America. This has now been accomplished, and the book is available on Amazon, and WestBow Press sites, (urls below). For those of you who live outside America, who may wish to purchase it, it is also printed in the U.K. and Australia, which means a huge saving in postage. It is a handsome book of over 400 pages, with good sized print, maps, and end notes. The Soft cover version is currently priced on Amazon at $30.95, and Kindle version at $10.75. The book has an urgent message regarding the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ. People who read the first (N.Z.) edition of the book (June 2014), have recommended it to others, but I believe the message needs a wider audience - hence this American edition.I began writing on the Beast and Islam, on Five Doves in October 2005, with a series of posts (based on Daniel 7 and Revelation 13), which indicated that a revived Islamic Caliphate would rise up in the Middle East in the end time. They were:-“Beast from the Sea Revealed – Part I” (posted October 12, 2005 on Yom Kippur)“Beast from the Sea – Part II” (posted October 19, 2005 on Sukkot)“Beast from the Earth – 666 – Part III” (posted October 26, 2005 on Simchat Torah)This information, and much other research material regarding a revived Caliphate, was incorporated into the later (EAR) posts on Five Doves between 25 September and 30 September 2010.My conclusions at that time were fulfilled three and a half years later, when the Islamic State (Caliphate) declared its existence on 29 June, (Ramadan 2014), and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (Caliph Ibrahim) made his appearance during Friday prayers on international Television on 4 July. The inauguration of the latter-day Caliphate fulfilled my interpretation of Daniel 7:11–12 and Revelation 13:1–2; and the Islamic State Caliphate centred in Raqqa (Syria) has subsequently fought its way through 36 of the "42 months" that Revelation 13:5 prophesied for it to last. Thus, the Caliphate in Raqqa should be terminated prior to 15th December (Chanukah 4), or 30th December, 2017 (allowing 1260 days and 42 months respectively for these dates).[Unfortunately, that will not be the end of the World’s troubles; largely because the Muslim nations in the Middle East are now beginning to conform to the scenario described in Daniel 11:40 ff. where a conflict arises between the king of the South (a consortium of Sunni nations, e.g., Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan), and the king of the North (Shi’a Iran, Iraq, Syria, Hezbollah, and associated militant groups who now occupy the old Seleucid areas). This conflict results in the king of the North invading Israel, and Egypt.]However, to return to my book, my subsequent investigations and research on the two beasts described in Revelation 13 resulted in six end-time topics — only a couple of which were printed locally as booklets, and posted on Five Doves. One of these was “Daniel’s Prophecy of 70 Weeks and the Covenant” which was posted in sections on Five Doves (EAR – 29 September 2010). Another was “The Little Horn of Daniel’s 4th Empire and the Kingdom of the Jews” which was posted in sections on Five Doves (EAR – 5 October to 12 October, 2010). These two booklets contained the essential prophetic/historical background information that enabled me to write this current book.
The book is a comprehensive study that explores the prophetic prediction and historical revival of a latter-day Islamic Caliphate; while the last quarter of the book explores Islam’s connection with a primordial political/religious ideology called Babylon, which is symbolic of the lately modernized great city of Mecca.
