"Gino: Is it where the Lord forgets?"

Gino,

The Lord never forgot the dead who were in Hades, in the outer darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. He visited and minister to them for three days after He died from the cross. Those who weep will possibly repent, but those who gnash their teeth will most likely be unrepentant.

At the Great White Throne Judgement, when all the dead will be raised from the graves, from the sea, and from Hades, the Lord Jesus Christ will remember those who had call upon him and repented of their sins, and He recorded it in the books. Even if the Lord missed out someone if that is possible, from His reaching out to all He desires to be saved and not to perish, He will have to weigh the good deeds that anyone had done from the bad deeds based on the records on the books that will be opened. Rev. 20 does not clearly said that all who were raised at the second resurrection were thrown in the Lake of Fire.

Romans 2:12-18
2 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the HEARERS of the law are just in the sight of God, but the DOERS of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

Judging is not just about condemning, it is also about rewarding. Test the Scriptures, do not twist it, all for the sake of a pre-conceived view that the only ones will be saved are those who belonged to the First Resurrection. The only big difference with those saved in the First Resurrection from the Second Resurrection, is the rewards, which are the crowns, the royal priesthood in the millennium, the kingship through eternity. Study Rev. 21, find out who are the kings and the nations mentioned there in the New Heaven and New Earth.

1 Cor. 3:11-18
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Study also the Sheep and the Goat Judgement, and find out  where it is properly placed in the prophetic end timeline, the keyword is the mention of the eternal fire which is the Lake of Fire prepared for the devil and his angels. The Sheep is dumbfounded when Jesus told them how they have treated Him, which tells that they are not christians. Christians serves the Lord Jesus Christ through others in need materially and spiritually. Jesus hates false humility.

We can never limit the Lord from dispensing His Grace to anyone He wishes to. Not only Justice and Mercy is the very exercise of His Sovereignty, but more importantly His Grace. The Power that drives this exercise of His Sovereignty is His Great Love. Think of Cornelius. He was not a follower of Christ before he met Peter, but God took notice of his devotion to prayer and his good deeds towards the poor and the needy.

The above does not mean to neglect the need  for us to spread the Gospel. All the more we should share it so that people will not take chances on their salvation. The only lesson that I get from this understanding is having an attitude of not thinking highly of myself because of the salvation I have with Jesus, and not looking down and condemning others for not having Jesus in their lives. Having an Exclusivist attitude is dangerous. Jesu said, not everyone who calls on me Lord! Lord! will be saved only those who do the will of my Father in Heaven.
