Through my studies, I am one who has concluded that Pentecost fully comes this year on July 23, with the 50 day count being added after the seven week count following the first fruits barley wave offering.  I understand that this is debated, with sincere folks holding to the idea that it already took place on June 4, with the seven week and the 50 day counts overlaying one another.

To me the English translation has ambiguity, per the Hebrew, so I have to look for timing clues in other passages.  One is found in what the scoffers said about the disciples in Acts 2, that they were drunk with new wine, and Peter countering that it was too early in the day for that to be the case.  Both presumed that new wine was available, that the grapes had not only become ripe but had also been harvested, placed in new wine skins, and had time to ferment.  Grapes are not ripe and available for that per the traditional Pentecost timing that takes place in the spring.

A second clue is that the Pentecost wave loaves of wheat bread had to be made from wheat that Israel had planted.  It was not acceptable to God to have the wave loaves made from wheat that some other nation or people group had planted and labored for. 

Per the traditional timing of Pentecost, Joshua and the children of Israel were screwed in being able to offer the wheat's first fruits wave offering the first year they got into the promised land when they entered in the first month of Nisan.  Wheat takes about four months to grow.  The traditional Pentecost count concludes too early in the year for Joshua to offer loaves made of "home grown" wheat.

Per a 7 week plus 50 day count, the wheat would have been ready at the end of the fourth month, which is when the seven week plus 50 day count tends to end.

So, for me, next weekend, July 22-23 is a high watch time for a rescue event.

I believe the wave offerings are a picture of ascension events.  Jesus shows this after He resurrected in His conversation with Mary.  After she recognized Him, she was squeezing His guts with as tight of a hug as her muscles could muster.  I believe Jesus had a gentle laugh in His voice when He told Mary that He needed her to let go because He had to ascend to the Father.  He ascended then, fulfilling the wave offering detail of the Feast of Firstfruits barley, presenting Himself before the Father in heavenly places.

Pentecost also includes a wave offering detail.  To me, this is a big clue as to when another ascension event might take place.  This is why July 23 is a high watch day for me.

If the removal of the body of Christ, indwelt by the Spirit, takes place at the same time the Spirit entered human beings in Acts 2, then it will be the third hour of the day in Jerusalem or about 9 am, which will be 11 pm on July 22 for me on the west coast.  However, the true day and hour is not obvious.  Perhaps, since America had been the last "blessed of God" nation to spread the gospel during the church age, might the timing actually be per our time zones?   And then which time zone?

One thing I observe about the seven week plus 50 day count is that it totals 99 days.  Might this be why Jesus, when describing the good shepherd, mentioned leaving 99 safe sheep to get the one?  In other words, Jesus is going to let the 99 days unfold completely for the sake of that one last sheep.  And so yes, Jesus is going to make us wait out the full count out of love for the one.

A couple weeks ago I had a conversation with a young man whom I believed the Spirit is drawing to faith in Jesus.  I encouraged him to go to God in prayer and simply ask Him that if Jesus had truly accomplished complete forgiveness for him in what He pulled off, that he sincerely ask God that it would be revealed to him so that he could know for himself.  After talking with him, I was grateful to God that He had not yet sent Jesus to get us.

I also observe something that Jesus did, recorded in the gospels, that may be a pattern for some of us after the rapture.  After His first ascension, Jesus came right back down (from an earthly timeline perspective) to reveal Himself to and to teach particular people for 40 days until He ascended a second time.

Might that also happen after a Pentecost wave offering ascension/rapture event?  Might some of us be sent back down for a 40 day window, ministering to particular folks?  Might this 40 day window be when the fullness of the gentiles are brought in, who will then ascend with us after the 40 days are done?

Lastly, I am one who holds to the belief that the stars and heavenly bodies belong to God.  And these stars, arranged by God into constellations, tell us a story about Jesus, and what takes place within these can be timing markers, or signs, about what Jesus will do in the near future.  It is all about Jesus.

Satan has perverted this into astrology, with it focused on you and your life, and not about Jesus.  Christians wisely reject astrology but they throw the baby out with the disgusting bath water, so to speak, by also rejecting how the events and signs in the constellations are meant by the Father to gives us clues about Jesus and what He will do prophetically.

I bring this up because something is happening in the heavens soon that lines up, timing wise, with the upcoming Pentecost weekend.  The sun starts to enter a constellation whose ancient names' meanings of this main constellation, its three associated smaller constellations, and a number of the included stars all point to a common theme of a gathering together into a place of safety.  I used Bullinger's book "Witness of the Stars" in my research.  There are others on YouTube who have done similar work.  One I can recall now is Diane Oliviere (sp?) who I recommend.  Another goes by the name Gevte.

The constellation I am referring to is commonly called Cancer.  I call it the "Gathered Assembly" constellation. If you research this you will see why this is a good name for it.

The sun, which is a picture of Jesus, as it enters the "Gathered Assembly" constellation on July 22-23, will also have the moon right next to it, since it happens to be the time of the concealed, dark moon.  I believe the moon is a symbol of the body of Christ who are designed to light the earth with the light of the sun (Son) since we are not a source of light in and of ourselves.  The moon is next to the sun as the sun enters the Gathered Assembly constellation.

At the same time, it just so happens that the planet Mars is in conjunction with the sun on July 23rd, possibly pointing to the beginning of war at the same time the body of Christ is harpatzoed out of harm's way.  In Peter's Acts 2 sermon on Pentecost, when he quotes from Joel 2, he mentions that on a future Pentecost there will be signs in the heavens, and on the earth blood, fire and columns of smoke before the day of the Lord.  So, I have considered that if the Pentecost wave offering is indeed the timing of our rescue event, that perhaps war will also be breaking out on earth at the same time.

It seems the world is on the cusp of the seal judgements being opened by Jesus.  I believe we will be in heaven to witness Him doing this.

Now, if some of what I present does not seem valid to you based upon your own understanding of scripture, that is OK.  These are simply timing possibilities based on my studies. 

Let us keep our focus on the truth that we each have intimacy with Jesus due to God's total grace, and that our hope is on His soon return.  We have quite a bit in common.
