Temple Mount actually is  Roman Fort Antonia

Mar_13:2  And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Mic 3:12  Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.

If you actually read account of the fall of Jerusalem by Josephus or read the book “Temple” by Robert Cornuke you will find that the Temple was in the City of David 600 feet South of Fort Antonia.

The Jewish people are worshiping at the Western Wall of Fort Antonia; a  wall of large stones stacked one on another.
