I have read the Bible several times - and usually skipped the parts that I found
tedious, like Numbers.

About a year ago, I too heard a physical voice... behind me while doing housework.
I was startled and looked back. No one was there that I could see.

The male Voice said: "Read My Word". Upon reflection, I was astonished that the Lord
would actually be talking to me.

But, just in case, I bought a NKJ (the modern English was a big help) and read it cover to cover,
even all the "begets". I am still amazed at how much I learned and at how many more dots I
gathered toward a deeper understanding. I also realized how much I don't know and am starting
to read it all again
