In answer to your July 3rd post....the answer is absolutely yes, your pet is in heaven.

In 2010, my wife and I suffered through the departure of our beloved Beagle Zoe, who was like a son to us.

I had to know from The Lord if I would see Zoe again.  The Lord gave us 3 passages to show us that animals go to heaven.

See I Corinthians 15:35-44

You will see there are different types of bodies. There are human bodies, there are fish bodies, and there are bodies of beasts, etc..... These bodies are all like seeds and they all take on their finished form in heaven.

Also see Romans 8:18-25

All of creation looks forward to the day when the curse will be lifted.  Animals were subject to death not because of their own sin.  God subjected them to death so that they could partake in the future, glorious liberty of the children of God (vs 20 & 21).


Also see II Sam 12

This is the famous passage in which Nathan the Prophet confronts David over his adulterous affair with Bathsheba.

What is notable, however, is David's reaction when he hears the story about the little lamb told by Nathan.  King David says that the man who has killed this little lamb must die. In this, the heart of the Lord is revealed in David's love for animals and the importance that God places upon them.
