"Garry B:  possible time lapse between rapture & Trib"

Hi Garry B:

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/july2016/garryb73.htm

I am not dogmatic about this, and many, many, many things – we will not know specifically how they are going to play out until we are watching over the balcony from heaven.  For now, we have the general outline only.  But I mentioned I personally think there is a gap between the rapture & Tribulation (not a many year gap as some have often taught, simply because this world is too ripe for the Trib to get underway & the antiChrist will be chomping at the bit to get going!!)  Yet I base my speculation on the rapture itself being Revelation 4:1 ~ and it’s clear till Revelation 6 before the Trib officially gets going…. When the AntiChrist “rides to town” on his white horse w/a bow but no arrow.  {We recall he’ll deceive by peace…. Flattery…. Nice, soothing words… a.k.a. political jargon or some would call baloney…..}

So we still have Revelation 5 to play out – and this is all the worshipping of the redeemed saints from the world over, the angels, and four living creatures in heaven.

Plus, consider seal one most likely would not be the antiChrist “riding in” on the white horse – IF he was already stationed in (let’s say Israel) …. Pen in hand, and signed a peace agreement with the Palestinians & Israelis….. on the VERY DAY just hours after the rapture.   Just seems the natural order of things that it will be a process…..

This still meshes about “sudden destruction” because immediately after the rapture & the Restrainer is removed, there IS sudden destruction as this time gets underway, a snare to test everyone left on earth.

Anyway, given the state of the world right now, it’s pure speculation to guess how long (approximately) the gap of time between the 2 might be.  It was just my generalized (that a word?)  guess that it might be approx.. anywhere from a couple weeks to a couple months (I’d think at most)…… and on the flip side, it could be as little as 2 days…..   don’t let any good tragedy go to waste, you know….. and soon after the rapture (the disappearances) and while people are merely trying to sleep (some will literally go stark raving mad!)  and “adjust” to what just happened, regardless of what they choose to believe caused it …. Then perhaps the antiChrist-to-be will have it put into his heart or come up with the idea himself that NOW is a good time to go ahead & sign a peace treaty!!  While the vast majority of people on earth are “still in shock” then he could find a good time to slide the peace treaty on through.

The exact wording of my letter was:  B-b-but!!!  That does not account for a couple months (just my own personal speculation) that it will take for the AntiChrist-to-be to get all things prepped & ready to go.  I could be wrong about that; it may be merely a couple weeks.  Yet the Bible does indicate there’s a small space of time after the saints meet Jesus in the air before the Tribulation actually kicks in.   I expect homecomings in heaven will be very noisy & joyful!  Plus, we’ll be checking out our new homes!  We’ll be in SUCH AWE of God Himself that we will continually bow down to worship Him.  Yet, there will come a time, when a hush will fall all over heaven with the space for about ½ an hour  (per Revelation) as no one BUT THE LAMB HIMSELF will be found worthy to open the scroll……  and as Jesus opens it, the Tribulation officially gets underway…. As the AntiChrist takes his place on center stage to confirm the peace agreement between Israel & the Palestinians.    ## END….

And I made it VERY CLEAR that this was merely my own speculation.  But perhaps a better choice of words for me to have expressed it may’ve been:  The Bible SEEMS TO indicate there’s a small space of time after the saints meet Jesus before the Tribulation kicks in.

I dunno’ what Pastor Terry Malone (Calvary Prophecy) currently teaches, but some 10 years ago when I used to follow him, he suggested there could be as much as a 10 year gap in between the rapture & Trib.  TEN YEARS??  I don’t think so!!  I just don’t see how it could possibly be that long.

Listen, I need to end my writing for this evening, but I googled this for you – I’ve got to offer the disclaimer though, that I do not know who put this site together & I’d bet there’s likely something on his site I do not agree with.  All I can ask is everyone use spiritual discernment.   But anyway, for info. Purposes only, here are his thoughts on the gap of time:   http://www.rapturenotes.com/when-will-the-tribulation-begin.html
