"RE:  DP lost your dog"

DP,

I feel you’ll get many responses as many pet lovers are here who understand the deep love you had (and still have!) for Oreo!

We are SOOOO sorry you lost your precious companion!  I instantly teared up in remembering the heartache & pain when we lost our precious “baby” 3.5 years ago.  {furry baby girl}  We currently have a precious soul who is like a son to us!  My only concern & I pray about it often is what will become of him at the rapture?  How I hope the Lord answers my prayers favorably & redeems him, too!!  Yet, if not, then I pray for a quick death…. As opposed to being tormented by man or other beast.  Not pleasant to think on, yet one way or another, I can trust the Lord that we’ll see this precious dog again, too.

Honey, you do not need “visions” when we have His Word on it!!  I believe all true Christians who pray to see their beloved pets again…. WILL!!!!   And perhaps we will even if we don’t think to ask for that.  They gave us so much joy on earth, why we the Lord possibly strip that from us in Paradise?   Hey, I don’t mind if I’m assigned to clean horse stalls for all eternity!  Worth it to me just to enjoy the creatures God Himself made!!

We know for a fact there are horses in heaven (we’ll ride back to earth on, behind Jesus!) and we know for a fact there are 4 living creatures.  Also:

Psalm 36:6Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

Thy righteousness [is] as mountains of God, Thy judgments [are] a great deep. Man and beast Thou savest, O Jehovah.

Romans 8:

21that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22We know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.…

And best of all, Revelation 5:

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”[g]

14 Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four[h] elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.[i]

God the Creator LOVES the Creation He made!!  And this certainly includes everything that has breath!!   Is He surely aware of it when even a sparrow dies??

Also, now the following is a parable intended for King David to recognize his own sins before God.

Even so, read from 2 Samuel 12:

1The Lord sent Nathan to David. When he came to him, he said, “There were two men in a certain town, one rich and the other poor. 2The rich man had a very large number of sheep and cattle, 3but the poor man had nothing except one little ewe lamb he had bought. He raised it, and it grew up with him and his children. It shared his food, drank from his cup and even slept in his arms. It was like a daughter to him.

4“Now a traveler came to the rich man, but the rich man refrained from taking one of his own sheep or cattle to prepare a meal for the traveler who had come to him. Instead, he took the ewe lamb that belonged to the poor man and prepared it for the one who had come to him.”

5David burned with anger against the man and said to Nathan, “As surely as the Lord lives, the man who did this must die! 6He must pay for that lamb four times over, because he did such a thing and had no pity.”

Pet lovers love, love, LOVE that this little lamb was LIKE A DAUGHTER to him!!!!

Is this not how we treat our pets??  We love them soooo much!!!  They are family members & as such, occupy a huge place in our hearts!!  AND…. Break our hearts into tiny pieces when they leave us.

Be comforted, you will see your Oreo again!
