"Part II: Reply for Luis Vega: Malachi 4:2 "Healing in his wings""

Malachi 4:2. "But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings." What kind of wings? Literal like those of Icarus flying toward the sun? There are a number of descriptions of Messiah/Christ according to the Book of Revelation. In his current state since the vision at Patmos about 95 AD, in an exalted resurrection body in Heaven, he has no pairs of wings. He has eyes like fire, white hair, and feet like burnished bronze. Christ appears like the Ancient of Days, described in the Book of Daniel. Especially important is his wearing a garment called a tallith. This is a prayer shawl with 4 "tzitzit" or fringes on the 4 corners of the rectangular garment. It is draped over the shoulders. When it is pulled up over the man's head at 2 of the 4 corners, it appears like a canopy, a tent, and a pair of wings! Wings!

According to the Gospels, individuals tried to reach out to touch or grasp one of the 4 "tzitzit"  of the tallith of the Messiah. The tassels were where "the healing in his wings" was to be found. The strands of yarn were looped and tied in each of the 4 tassels in order to cumulatively represent all 613 mitzvoh on the Torah!  Do we remember the story about the healing of the woman with the issue of blood which left her defiled? In faith of cure after 12 long years of suffering,, she reached out and touched or grasped a tassel of the Messiah's tallith. The Messiah mentioned that he felt power leave him. Through where? One of the 4 "tzitzit" was where his power, the miraculous cure, left him and into her. She was completely healed.

The Messiah's tallith with "tzitzit" is an important garment for Yahushua/Yeshua/Jesus Christ to have worn. And he continues to wear.  Malachi 4:2 is fulfilled. There is abundant "healing in his wings."
