Dear Susan,
will pray for you..many people are struggling with the 'food' issues these days. It is turning into an epidemic.
The very best thing to do is start replenishing the gut with GOOD bacteria..there is a good book but technical/medical called 'Bacteria for Breakfast' as to rationale how/why it works.
I would just get right to it and go to cultured food life- watch Donna's story and read all the free info then start making cultured foods immediately. The only grains you can probably eat are 'sprouted grains' and specialty things like quinoa and millet and possibly spelt.
Homemade sourdough is your answer to being able to eat grains- it must first be fermented and basically 'predigested' for you. Sourdough starter can be caught in the air with a jar..I caught mine and use it every other day for pancakes, waffles, biscuits etc..Sourdough bread is harder -meaning you have to be much more patient. It 'proofs' or 'rises' for MUCH longer than usual- like 12-24 hours.

I would also buy this cookbook. Nourishing Traditions-by Sally Fallon. The first recipe to make is bone broth. People in your condition need that every single day. Then pick and choose what recipes you might like/tolerate. You can look up some of this information on- The Weston A. Price Foundation website.

You must avoid ALL Genetically modified foods and high fructose corn syrup and nutrasweet and msg and all preservatives. These are destroying everyone's natural gut flora and setting people up for chronic disease.
Buy only organic and natural foods...you are probably being exposed to toxins/chemicals that you don't even realize.
There is a lot more..vitamins, minerals, supplements you can get into later but I would purchase a good- probiotic- which I would take 2-3 times/day with each meal.
The easiest cultured food is milk keifer or cultured vegetables...start with one of those.
Then if you get 'into' it you can add water keifer and /or kombucha and there are others- see cookbook and Donna Schwenk's website.
Oh, I forgot the whole point is..once you heal your 'guts' then you WILL be able to eat yeast, dairy, wheat etc..but you have to eliminate all that at first and then work on healing. Then yu VERY VERY slowly introduce the foods you want to be able to eat in small amounts. In severe cases it can take weeks or months- up to 18-24 months.
You are not alone..people with diabetes, M.S., cancer, lupus, severe allergies, headaches, and food intolerances are often all suffering from this underlying disorder that sets them up for further illness.
