Denis also mentions the previous similar Solar Eclipse being on 8/6/1918.
The gap between 8/6/1918 and 11/9/2001 is 999 months and 3 days. ie 333+333+333
months and 3 days! Remarkable!
From 11/9/2001 to 21/8/2017 is 5823 days and 5+8+2+3 = 6+6+6 or 3+3+3+3+3+3.
5823 is also 647 x 9 days or 647 x (3+3+3) days.
