"Could Israel Be Called Upon to Fight ISIS?"

We are moving closer to the "sudden destruction event" that is associated throughout the Bible with the Rapture.  The war in the Middle East is spreading, and eventually Israel will also have to deal with the Iranian nuclear sites.  The fact that we are living late in these End Times and that the Rapture is drawing near is a topic that most churches and pastors want to sweep under the rug and pretend does not exist!  Sad!  Many "church people" and pastors will be left here after the Rapture!  About a year ago Pastor John Hagee had a major experience from the Lord.  He saw his church the day after the Rapture (he had been taken in the Rapture).  His church was packed full of people who were very scared about what was going to be happening in the world!  We are now more than 66 years into these End Times (from the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948), and the "parable of the fig tree" in the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is very clear that we are the generation to see all end time events fulfilled, including the Rapture, Tribulation Period, and Second Coming!

Israel Today

The Islamic State in Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) is rapidly making gains in war-torn Iraq and Syria, and is now threatening one of the region’s few stable regimes, Jordan.
The Hashemite Kingdom has reportedly amassed forces along its eastern border with Iraq, but after ISIS managed to so effortlessly overrun the American-backed Iraqi army, there is cause for concern.
There is growing speculation that if ISIS makes a move on Jordan, Israel will be asked to join the fight.
Former Israeli National Security Council directory Yaakov Amidror told an audience in Jerusalem on Sunday that “it’s not just in Jordan’s interest, but in Israel’s as well to work together to solve this problem.”
Jordan has a capable ground force, but could still be overwhelmed numerically by ISIS without the backing of a strong power like the Israel Air Force. The Jewish state is at present a long way from committing such support publicly, but government sources are already saying that Israel will provide intelligence in what appears to be Jordan’s inevitable battle with the Islamists.
Obama Administration officials cited by The Daily Beast went further, noting that the current assessment is that the Jordanian military will not be able to repel a full ISIS assault, and that Amman will seek to recruit both Israel and the United States to the fight. And, those same officials suggested, Israel and the US will be compelled to accept Jordan’s request.
While the overall situation is certainly harrowing for the region, it also provides yet another opportunity for Israel to demonstrate to moderate Arabs that it is not the enemy, and is in fact a potential steadfast ally.
