Hi John, and Doves,
Re: EAR post 13th July - "Toes of Iron and clay" - PART 3
I
am sorry that you have not been able to access the two PDF files
I embedded in PART 3 of the above post. I will try again and send them
as separate attachments.
The first attachment in
chart form, gives a compressed history of the 7 Biblical Middle
Eastern/Asian "head" empires seen on the symbolic leopard/bear/lion
"beast" described in Revelation 13:1-2. This chart shows (through
various coloured print trails) where Daniel's "metallic man - iron/clay
feet and toes" and "four beasts" visions fit into the overall historical
record of the "seven headed beast" referred to in
Revelation 17:3b and17:10. This succession of eastern empires existed
from the time of Babel (1st Empire) until the end of the "mortally wounded"
7th head Ottoman "Islamic Caliphate" in 1920-24. German efforts in
Europe during WWII, to revive the Holy Roman Empire for 1,000 years;
ended, not with the total eradication of the Jewish race, but with the
total destruction of the 3rd Reich in 1945. At this point in
time: during the absence of any existing Gentile Empires; both of
Daniel's visions for the Jewish Diaspora were completed; i.e., "... in the days of these ("iron/clay") kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom..." Cf. Dan. 2:44; and "the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom", Cf. Dan. 7:22b. As a result of "heavenly judgments", the last manifestation of the 4th beast empire was destroyed and the Jewish State of Israel was
established three years later in 1948. Daniel then states "This is the end of the account" Dan. 7:28.
The second attachment gives
information about the wounded 7th head Islamic Caliphate, which revives
itself as the 8th head empire on the beast in Rev.17:11. In the end
times, this revived Caliphate rises out of the sea on the eastern shore
of the Mediterranean; occupying the territories of the old
Macedonian/Grecian (leopard), Media/Persian (bear), and Babylonian
(lion) empires. Further details are given regarding the beast's
component parts; i.e., its geographical position on seven previous
empires; its 10 crowned horns (10 sovereign Islamic nations) existing
within its borders; and the four birds wings on its back (being the four
ex USSR Islamic states). Its "10 kings without kingdoms" are described
as "state within a state"
terrorist groups that eventually align themselves with the aims and
objectives of the revived "Islamic State" Caliphate which was announced
on 29/6/14. On 4th July, the 1st Friday in Ramadan 2014 in the great
Mosque in Mosul, Northern Iraq, the revived Caliphate's self-appointed
leader "revealed" himself as"Caliph Ibrahim" a descendant of
Mohammad (a.k.a. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi). Cf. Rev. 17:12-14.
Whether
"Caliph Ibrahim" survives long enough to enforce his claimed objectives
and create havoc for the projected 42 months
of the Caliphate's tenure is anyone's guess; (Cf. Rev. 13:5) but in the
quagmire of the Middle East there are plenty of other likely candidates
who would continue the Caliphate's pattern of death and destruction
against its foes, now that it has been officially revealed.
Compare
2 Thess. 2:3-12. The "apostasy" of the Western World has provided the
spiritual vacuum into which Satan is now inserting his earthly agents of
destruction. In Iraq, the "restraints" previously enforced by Saddam's
dictatorship and America's presence have now been "taken
away" and together with the civil war in Syria against Bashar
Assad, these events have allowed "the lawless one", to be revealed.
My
recent book "The Beast and the False Prophet - The Revival of Radical
Islam" shows that the prophecies of Daniel and John portray a series
of symbolic empires; the last of which is coming into a comprehensive
alignment with events happening in the Middle East right now. Jesus said
these political and religious convulsions would be "like a woman in
travail", and come upon the World "as a snare" prior to His Second
Coming when He defeats His enemies.
I
hope these charts are helpful in placing the prophecies of Daniel and
John in their correct historical setting, thus revealing what is yet to
be fulfilled before the end of the Gentile age.
In Christ,
EAR
