A
further refinement of what I hypothesized yesterday: technically the
birth of the Church was on Pentecost, not passover. Since the first
Blood Moon of 33AD occurred on Passover just after Christ was crucified,
that means that the first 3 of 4 Blood Moons of 32-33 AD occurred prior to the birth of the Church, since
the Church was born on Pentecost. So IF the Church Age ends with
similar celestial signs, then we should look for the Rapture of the
Church to be between the 3rd and 4th Blood Moons of 2014-2015 AD.
This is consistent with my favorite theories that the Rapture is too
significant of an event to happen on just any day. It represents the
end of the Church Age, so it has to happen on a Jewish Feast Day. There
are 3 Jewish Feast Days between Passover (3rd Blood Moon) and the Feast
of Tabernacles (the 4th Blood Moon): Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets and
Day of Atonement.
Pentecost: Enoch was born on Pentecost, and Enoch was raptured on his birthday, on Pentecost.
After Enoch's rapture the world suffered the first world wide wrath of
God: Noah's Flood. The Law was given on Pentecost and the age of the Law ended on Pentecost. The same day the age of the Law ended, the Church was born: on Pentecost. Might the Church Age likewise, end on Pentecost?
And consequently, the age of the law and prophets would resume for the
final 7 prophetic years for Daniels' people, a time period which
includes God's 2nd world wide wrath: the Great Tribulation as described
in the Book of Revelation.
The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah): this Feast has had no
prophetic fulfillment yet and is the next feast in the sequence after
Pentecost. All feasts prior to this one were fulfilled by the first
coming of the Messiah, so many expect the ending of the church age and
the rapture of the church to happen on the Feast of Trumpets.
Luke 17:26-30
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27
They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage,
until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and
destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They
ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29
but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone
from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
Jesus warned that a Rapture of the Christian Church would occur before the Judgement of the world. (The wrath of God is only for those who have rejected the Messiah.)
PS: One point of clarification to the 33AD diagram below: a Blood
Moon is a Lunar Eclipse. Lunar Eclipses can only happen during a Full
Moon. However a solar eclipse can only happen with a New Moon. So it
is astronomically impossible to have a solar and a lunar eclipse on the
same day. (See links below for diagrams.)
Since Passover is always on a Full Moon, a blood moon/lunar eclipse was possible, and in fact the April 3, 33AD lunar eclipse (blood moon) is well documented.
However, the darkness that fell on Jerusalem when Christ was crucified could not
have been a solar eclipse. Also solar eclipses generally last about
5-10 minutes, not 3 hours. Consequently, the 3 hours of darkness must
have been due to dark cloud formations or a volcanic eruption or some
supernatural phenomena caused by God. Recall that during this same time
period there was a great earthquake, and tombs opened and the dead
arose and the Holy of Holy curtain was torn from top to bottom in the
Temple.
