Yes Nicole, I have noticed how things are getting polarized and angry.  It isn't somewhat civilized political banter anymore.  It really is getting downright ugly where the respect is just
almost (if not all) 100% gone for the more conservative viewpoint.  I told somebody the other day, that demonic activity in society seems to have shot through the roof.  My spouse has relatives that HATE him for his conservativism, even though he has been kind to them; yet probably 10+ years ago they would never say such hateful things to him about his beliefs.
