"Star of David
alignment? well,..."
re: http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/july2013/michaelc718-1.htm
and the "Star of David" alignment
I have studied astrology for several years. I have familiarity
with reading astrological star charts.
July 22 2013 is NOT a Star of David alignment date. It is
July 29th 2013 (or July 30th if you are further east in one of
the time zones).
Thus, there is NO Star of David alignment with Tu B'Av (Hebrew
month of Av, 15th day which corresponds to the Full Moon, this
month on July 22nd).
Sorry to burst the bubble.
The astrological alignments are: Neptune (in Pisces),
Saturn (in Scorpio), and Jupiter/Mars (in Cancer)
Pisces, Scorpio, and Cancer are "Water" signs. These
planets are in degrees close enough that they connect in a
triangle (this is simple geometry).
For the other triangle, the alignments are: Moon (in
Taurus), Venus (in Virgo), Pluto (in Capricorn).
Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn are "Earth" signs.
If you want to better understand what the elements mean in
astrology, you can read for a few minutes on the webpage of your
choice.
They don't strictly mean water like what comes out of your
faucet, nor earth what you stand on.
In eastern astrology or astronomy, the degrees will be about 22
(degrees) further back in the signs; however the spatial
relationships will remain the same,
and thus the star of david alignment will still be realized on
July 29th or 30th.
