The Palestinians have said that the United Nations General Assembly will vote on Thursday afternoon on a resolution raising their status at the United Nations from an observer to a nonmember observer state, a move they believe “is an important step toward a two-state solution with Israel.”

Unlike the UN Security Council, the General Assembly requires no voting, so this move is likely to be approved and adopted. This is another step in the Palestinian long-sought after move to have their own state within the sovereign nation of Israel, despite the Lord God Almighty declaring many times in His Word that Israel belongs to the Jews.
