We still are the Lords “hands & feet” in this world. Sometimes it is said “the Lord works in mysterious ways”  And most of the time we don`t know how a word or His Word, a gesture, or a sharing continues rippling into other people`s lives. That`s why staying alert to His Holy Presence within us is so important.

Our will has to be aligned to His will so that we move and live and have or being in Him and we can be as another incarnation for Him.

This may sound pretentious to some but we have a very high calling indeed !

I will share your example with an example which manifested in my life recently.  I finished reading a modern free translation of the Book of Psalms in which the psalms were updated to our latterday world. You can argue about that but this is not the point here.  I presented it to a woman who does pastoral work in the place I work and asked if she would be interested.  She was and a couple of weeks later she came to my desk very happily saying;

“Your book has been a blessing indeed !” “There is a young woman in my church who was really abused as a kid and she became a very unhappy person who was on the verge of leaving church, feeling very disappointed, also about God.” ” I intuitively felt I should give her your book of psalms and this contemporary version really hit Home for her and she made up with the Lord after reading it and has wholeheartedly returned to our services.”       

Who could have guessed ?!
