Hi:

They would need to have it in their "earthen vessel"!
2Co 4:6,7 says, "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we (i.e., Paul and other believers) have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
AS I SEE IT, ALL TEN VIRGINS ARE SAVED
In Mt. 25:1, it is "THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN" that is to be likened unto ten virgins (Mat 25:1). All 10 are members of "THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN". Therefore, all 10 are saved. However, five are wise and five are foolish.
LUKE 12:42-46 TELLS WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE FOOLISH STEWARD
Luk 12:42-46 says, "And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and WISE STEWARD (i.e., the WISE VIRGIN), whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath. 45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; 46 The lord of that servant (i.e., the FOOLISH VIRGIN) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., CUT HIM OFF), and will appoint him his portion (i.e., the Great Tribulation) WITH THE UNBELIEVERS."
Mat 24:48-51 says, "But and if that EVIL SERVANT (i.e., foolish virgin) shall say in his heart, MY LORD (i.e., the foolish virgin believes in the Lord) delayeth his coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder (i.e., cut him off), and appoint him his portion (i.e., the Great Tribulation) with the hypocrites (pretenders): THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH. Then (tote, at that time) shall THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom."
WISE VIRGINS WILL BE CALLED, CHOSEN AND FAITHFUL
Mat 22:11-14 says, "And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend (i.e., a foolish virgin), how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN."
Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and THEY THAT ARE WITH HIM ARE CALLED, AND CHOSEN, AND FAITHFUL."
There are two Raptures. I believe that the wise virgins will go up in the First-Trump Rapture in Rev 4:1. The foolish virgins will be caught up in the Last-Trump Rapture on the Day of God's Wrath (Rev 6:17; 7:14).

Hi Marilyn,
Ok, as I see it, the foolish took no oil in their vessels – 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. Here in 2 Cor 4:7 we find that we need to have this treasure in earthen vessels to be saved. I would believe that just having the oil in their lamps would not indicate that they were saved! They would need to have it in their “earthen vessel”!
Marilyn we really are having a great discussion about a very difficult subject, and I have enjoyed it.
