Once we [study out] concerning the King James "Translation" of the Bible in our "English" language, we learn that there were [13] astute scholars chosen by the King toTranslate the Bible TO ENGLISH.
These scholars used only the Greek parchments( grass and skins) of all the books of the Bible. They [ each man] took X-numbers of the parchments and worked on the English translation.

Understand ...there are NO originals, because grass and skin wears away, thus the Israelites were the BEST of any people to copy and re-copy the books.

[Even so did the early church concerning all the letters of the Apostles.]
These letters were very precious to them, and they copied them and passed them from church to church, as well as retained copies for themselves.

These copies were examined [each one] to be sure there were NO mistakes.
If there was, they were thrown out and they began again.

Once that man had finished his "number of Parchments, his were passed to the next man to [also] go over [that same number of parchments.] this was done [13 times] and when [each] were finished with the number they had, the compilation  was also reviewed by the same 13 men, and so it was of [the completed Bible, [it again was reproofed by each scholar] and once they were [all] in agreement upon the completed Translation, it was presented to the King.
  the King James Bible took YEARS to complete.
These scholars [did NOT] use any parchments of the Vaticanus ,nor any of the gnostic writings which were written by gnostics who [did not] agree with the original parchments or the New Testament.

We must remember these same type of individuals were seeking to corrupt the "church" as soon as it was started.
Satan has always been there with his deceiving followers.
We [cannot] refer to the [Geneva Bible,] BECAUSE:
These translators had such contempt for the "Holy Roman Church" [at that time,] that [these translators added] to their translation 'words' against the Roman Catholic Church.
Therefore it [does not count] as "the pure word of God". 
The Bible tells us about a "Pure vine" and a "degenerate Vine."

Yet I' had planted thee a [noble vine,] wholly a [right seed:] how art thou turned into [the degenerate plant of a [strange] vine [unto] me?]

I' am the [true] vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

In the old Testament we read:

The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven.
And the Lord shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of [the covenant] that are written in this book of [the law:]

God fully intended for his word to remain pure.

It is through [our] ignorance that we receive [a degenerate vine.]
For years I carried the NAS translation. I found that it did not read the same as the KJV while talking to a friend who had the KJV.
That bothered me [a lot.] SOOO.. I got with the TRUTH ( KJV) of the Bible and I have been blessed.
After a while you can KNOW when a person is using the KJV or not.

Remember our Lord Jesus said; John 15:7 KJV
[If] ye abide in me, and MY WORDS abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and [it] SHALL be done unto you.

Not limiting "the Holy Spirit"; but it does cause me question concerning these other translations and those who regard them as "truth" and "the word of God".

IF man's words are written along side of, or "instead" of God's words, then their Bible is NOT the pure word of God. It is a degenerate vine.

The phrase "hold fast" is mentioned 9/9 times in the KJV

The Lord is speaking to the church of Philadelphia to whom he gives an open door.
Behold, I' come quickly: [hold that fast] which thou hast, [that no man take thy crown.]
Quickly in Greek means( rushing forward.)
Isn't this exactly what we see in prophecy fulfillment NOW ?

In answer to your question:
How many, like yourself, would be willing to face ridicule or condemnation for believing in the perfect, pure, and preserved word of God?

There are fewer individuals such as you and myself (today) who will STAND for this precious and wonderful King James Bible. It saddens me greatly.
I used to be one of "those" who carried other translations, Until; I woke up.

I will always write and speak in favor of the KJV, no matter what.
Condemnation and ridicule are just a very small issue for me.
I tell the scoffers;
You are not my source, God is my source, I look to him and not to you.

There was an old saying I heard growing up.
Right is right, and it don't wrong nobody.

And thus it is with those who ridicule our King James Bible.
TAKE SOME QUIET TIME and read "Jude". A book for all of us TODAY because we are living in the "time of Apostasy" Jude is writing to you, and Me.
A time of the falling away of the church. This must come "before" our Rapture.
