Rev. 6:6 "I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." All those believers who have repented, believed and received.

 

Doesn't the oil represent the Holy Spirit and the wine represent the blood of Jesus shed on the cross for you and me?

 

Luke 22:20 "Likewise also the cup [wine or grape juice] after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

 

Zech. 4:12 "I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?"

 

Wasn't it John filled with the Holy Spirit from his mothers womb and Jesus who was the Holy Spirit come down to give his life as a payment for our sins on the cross?  John was beheaded then Jesus was crucified. 

 

Could not these have been the two witnesses?  I don't think Enoch, who was taken up to heaven without dying and Elijah, or anybody else, will have to come back to witness for 3.5 days.  We've got Scripture, the Word of God, as a witness to us all.
