I’m not touching upon the subject that you were dealing with.
I only wanted to
mention something in light of your 1st sentence:
“This has been dealt with before here
on Five Doves and I'm a little surprised that the "argument"
is still being presented.”
I’m one of the
“Johnny-come-lately” people to FiveDoves.
I’ve only been
writing to FiveDoves for less than 3 years, I think.
Therefore I missed
so much of the discussions that went on before.
I’ve gone back in
the archives numerous times.
However, the
archives are not stored as threads, or as topics.
That is fine,
because FiveDoves isn’t setup that way.
It would also appear
that we are all more than satisfied with the way FiveDoves is
setup.
So, I was not
successful going back to study the archives based on threads
or topics.
A few months back, I
brought up something.
Then it was brought
to my attention that it had been throughly debated before.
Yet, I had missed
all those letters back and forth when the debate had been
carried out.
I tried looking
through the archives for the thread, but really only searched
on words or phrases.
This often produced
search results that were not part of the thread that I was
looking for.
In the end, I didn’t
feel so bad, about “bringing it back up again”.
Since to me, it
still was novel.
