"RE: Sandra Jean & Patty C: 07.26.13: the kingdom"

Sandra,

You made some excellent points, especially comparing Matthew to Luke.

Are there possibly, still, two different aspects of the Kingdom, but not necessarily tied to the difference of the words “Heaven” and “God”?

What I mean, is there still an aspect of the Kingdom that is for the believer & the church, while there is also yet an aspect for Israel?

Are there not aspects of the Kingdom which have been realized already, yet there are some aspects that are not yet realized, but are yet future?

Can there be both a spiritual aspect to the Kingdom and a physical aspect?

Can there be both an heavenly aspect to the Kingdom and an earthly aspect?

Can there be both the believer’s/church’s aspect to the Kingdom and Israel’s aspect?

Yes, it is true that the Kingdom of God is within you, and that Kingdom of God cometh not with observation.

All those present, spiritual, mystery truths of the Kingdom are very real.

However some scriptures show that there is also those yet future, physical, earthly, and Israel aspect of the Kingdom:

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

There is still the throne of David, to be sat in by Jesus.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

That aspect is yet future & earthly, in the days of those kings, breaking in pieces the other kingdoms

Mark 14:25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

That aspect is physical, drinking the fruit of the vine.

Luke 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

That aspect concerns Israel, the throne of David & the house of Jacob.

Luke 22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

That aspect is physical and also concerns Israel.

Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

That aspect concerns Israel.

II Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

That aspect is yet future.
