"RE: KML: 07.23.13: pure word of God"

KML,

             I really enjoyed reading that.

That was very informative.

How did you search out all that information regarding the translation of the AV, completed in 1611?

Are you located States-side? Not quite a year ago, I relocated States-side from the Caribbean.

Most people on the island used the AV all the time, but they had not studied that out, so most of them were not really King James Only, per se.

One of the bolder KJO friends that I had was a Pakistani convert from Islam, whose name was Sultan.

He explained it saying that some man stopped him on the street of Islamabad, wanting to tell him something.

He spoke to Sultan in English, and opened a King James Bible, there on the street, and spent a long time showing him Jesus.

At one point, Sultan got on his knees, right there on the street in Islamabad, and asked Jesus to save him.

I believe that the man gave the King James Bible to Sultan, then he was gone, and Sultan never saw him again.

Sultan began getting persecuted, his family turned on him, his car was firebombed, and he had a shotgun shoved in his face.

However, he was able, from the same book, to lead that man with the shotgun to Jesus.

The man put down the shotgun and called on Jesus to save him.

Sultan moved from Pakistan, and was no longer persecuted, but he maintained a vigorous gospel witness.

However, he was convinced that the King James Bible was the pure, preserved word of God.

He used to remind people that the LORD took that book, not only all over the globe, but that book was quoted from the moon, to the whole world.

He then studied some of the same things that you must have studied, and became extremely knowledgeable and more bold.
