Those were very sobering articles, I really appreciated that.

The one about them always listening-in on our phones, even when they are off, sounds familiar.

That is what the KGB was doing 30 years ago, where the phones maintained a live relay at all times.

The always knew what we were talking about at home or work.

It was frightening at first, but unfortunately we became anesthetized to it.

Also, when I was in China, I would pray by my bed in the morning.

Then the Interpreters would always seem to bring up the subjects that I had been praying about it.

I think they thought that they were going to freak me out, but were very surprised when I wasn't.

They didn't realize that I had lived with that, by the hand of the KGB, some 10 years earlier.
