Wow! I had never considered that. What a thought.

If lukewarm Christians miss the blessed hope (rapture), then the other lukewarm Christians wouldn’t be with Christ, now, either.

II Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

wouldn’t apply to them?

So, then would the lukewarm Christians, who have died, have to “soul sleep”, to miss out on being with the LORD, now, before the blessed hope?

I don’t think so.
