A reality is sinking in on me. Jesus gives those who believe the power to become Sons Of God. We received the Holy Spirit. The bible says if by the spirit we mortify the deeds of the flesh we shall inherit eternal life.

The doctrines of men and religion create a good church goer the abiding word of God in the Holy Scriotures if studied by a workman trying to be approved rightly dividing the word points to one logic.

If we live for this life here we die to life eternal if we live for our spiritual eternal life by walkI g in and abiding in the Spirit in truth God call us we come to Jesus Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit as a deposit. We must let Him through the life long process of the walking the walk as they used to teach not just talk the talk study abide I. The word seek through the Spirit to walk as a new man a new creation not in the vanity of our minds or the pride of this world.

Our only hope is that God through preaching will call us to Jesus and that through faith we apprehend the power the Spirit and mortify our flesh ie the freedom what we want to live by the Spirit unto holiness and rightousness bearing fruit God wants.

In essence since the Law proved we cannot save ourselves it must be entirely a work of God but we must continue to recieve the payments the sanctification process is the Narrow path.

Picking up your cross saying I will follow and listen as Jesus voice guides His sheep Home.

Believers are supposed to be full of the spirit not intoxicated with the world.
