Hi Garry,

I must disagree with your position. The Two Witnesses ministry is for 1260 days in the last half which starts with the Abomination of Desolation.

Rev 11:1-15
“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months (the last half). 3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days (the same exact period of time as above, stated in days), clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies (power from God): and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will (not indicative of first half). 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit (for me this identifies the beast as the first beast, and is not meant to indicate the timing of when the two witnesses are killed. Every other timing indicator points to the end of the last half) shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them (only upon the completion of their 1260 days). 8 And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city (Jerusalem) fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The Second woe is past; [and], behold, the Third woe cometh quickly. (The First woe was announced in Rev 8:13 following the Fourth Trumpet and included the Fifth Trumpet Judgment in Rev 9:1-11. Rev 8:13 says “And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!” The Second woe was the Sixth Trumpet, and the Third woe is the Seventh Trumpet out of which all Seven Bowl Judgments proceed). 15 And the seventh angel sounded (the Seventh Trumpet); and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
(The Seventh Trumpet is sounded just after the Two Witnesses are resurrected). A byproduct of your position would put Six Trumpet Judgments prior to the Abomination of Desolation. I just don’t believe that the world is going to believe that the Antichrist is God and receive his Mark of the Beast following all the Seals and Six Trumpets. Remember at the Sixth Seal, prior to any of the Trumpets, Christ appears in the sky and openly (raptures) gathers together the elect. The Unsaved hide in the dens and caves and ask the rocks to fall on them. They are not going to follow Antichrist willingly after the Sixth Seal. It is only because they already have the Mark of the Beast that they would continue to follow the Antichrist after the Sixth Seal. Satan is not even cast out of heaven, and the Antichrist is not yet the Antichrist until he is indwelt by Satan at the Abomination of Desolation. The Mark of the Beast is only instigated by the False Prophet following the Antichrist’s deadly wound being healed at the Abomination of Desolation (Rev 13:11-18).

Rev 6:12-17 “And I beheld when he had opened the Sixth Seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?”

Please review my previous post to you regarding rapture timing:
