"4th of July in Music"

There are two songs in popular music that seem to prophetically tell of something happening on the 4th of July.

The first one is by the music group Chicago. It's popular and is called "Saturday in the Park". First, Saturday
is the day of rest and could be indicative of the rapture at the end of 6k years. The park is representative of heaven.
The part referring to the 4th of July is: "Saturday in the park, I think it was the 4th of July..."

Verse 2 says: "Another day in the park, you'd think it was the 4th of July. People dancing, really smiling, a man playing guitar,
singing for us all. Will you help him change the world? Can you dig it (yes, I can). And I've been waiting such a long time
for today."

For those who think this is just a guy singing about a 4th of July celebration, why do the lyrics mention "changing the world"?
and why does he say he's been "waiting for such a long time"? And why does he "think" it was the 4th of July--wouldn't
he know that if it were something he had waited for for so long? Another song by the same group is "Does Anybody Really
Know What Time It Is?"--to me this is saying, "Does anyone see the signs and realize how close we are"?

The second song is by Jason Mraz and is called "The Remedy". "Well I saw fireworks from the freeway and behind closed
eyes I cannot make them go away 'cause you were born on the 4th of July (freedom ring), well something on the surface it
stings.." America was born on the 4th of July--is this an attack on the U.S. that day?

Another verse sounds like the spirit revealing scheming about a surprise attack by enemies.

"Well I heard 2 men talking on the radio in a cross-fire kind of new reality show uncovering the ways to plan the next big
attack, well they were counting down the ways to stab a brother in the be right back after this, the unavoidable kiss with
the minty fresh death breath is sure to outlast this catastrophe, dance with me, well if you gots the poison, I gots the remedy."

We'll know soon if that day this year means anything.
