Should preface this comment by saying that I believe the
Lord reveals things to me through popular music lyrics. Why
popular, non-Christian music? Because the people who tune
into Christian music are saved for the most part--He has
come for the lost. Also, I feel like the ones who write the
music may not even realize the Holy Spirit is working
through him/her, but would most likely be saved in the end.
There's a popular song out right now by Jason Mraz titled
"I Won't Give Up."
There are at least 3 or 4 verses that point to these last
days.
First, the lyrics say, "When I look into your
eyes....., it's like watching a beautiful sunrise
(son rise)."
Second, there is a phrase that is repeated that says, "I
won't give up, I'm still looking up." To
me, a reference of the verse in scripture, "And when
these things begin to happen, then look up, and
lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh."
Luke 21:28
Third, an important verse says: "'Cause even the
stars they burn. Some even fall to the earth.
We've got a lot to learn God knows we're worth it. No, I
won't give up." This to me is perhaps a clue: "And
the stars shall fall from heaven." Matthew 24:29.
Timing could be related to Seal 6 in Revelation. There have
been so many dreams and visions of multiple moons or suns
breaking up and falling to earth and this could be another
clue that it will happen soon.
Fourth, many songs have subtle lyrics referencing "I AM",
and they seem to be purposely placed. Here is another in my
opinion: "We had to learn how to bend without the world
caving in. I had to learn what I've got, and what
I'm not, and who (Jesus) I AM."
