Dear John and Doves -

 

I'm having second thoughts about discounting the idea that Revelation 11:10 may point to a December celebration.  This coming December may have no cause at all for celebration, since ongoing worldwide economic disaster seems unavoidable, and this may be coupled with ongoing environmental disaster and some political re-alignments that will make most folks just want to get 2012 over with.

 

But hope may spring eternal, and habits die hard.  Perhaps by 2015 or so, people will be looking for any reason to celebrate, and a resuscitated Saturnalia may be just the ticket.

 

That to say this:  from this coming Friday, July 13th to the traditional Christmas date in 2015 is exactly .... 1,260 days.  As my friend Bruce is wont to say:  "According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus!"
