"Re: your response to Christian Man Fined & Sentenced Over AZ Home Bible Studies"

Dear Steve C, John and Doves,

“the rest of the story “  was a good addition to this topic so that we could get a clear understanding of the recent activities and developments in this topic which is gaining a lot of interest. I think it is important that a clear picture is projected so a that a real understanding is gained when looking at these news items .... which, I am sure was Steve’s intent when he first decided to include  “the rest of the story” for our enlightenment. I feel that there is some much information on the net that as we post stories like this the threads we start  will me swollen with a flood of further information .... as is the purpose of a thread in the first place to a large extent. We put the article up and if further truth is out in cyber land it will come to the surface. So I am not convinced that we Christians have our heads totally in the sand.

But how much of this rich source of information should we use. Well let me suggest that we should use the information relating to the recent issue or article. The recent actions or none actions that have effected the result or article we are relating to. It seems that we have an abundant amount of recent information to support the fact that not all is as it seems or maybe I should say as has been reported from some sources.

No matter what lies and or deception  this pastor has been part of with the bible study story or how deep a hole he digs for himself ..... We have every right to expose this Christian deception if that is what’s on your heart to do and you have the platform to achieve your objectives. I am all for it and support actions of that nature as long as it is done with good intentions and no malice.

However, when you have to drag up another Christians past from 18 or so years ago and broadcast his crimes that he paid jail time for to further support the point that you are making, live on an end times Christian radio show ...... Then that that’s where I draw the line. If you then further push your point further by post main stream media reports about this pastors criminal past from many years ago, I feel that’s wrong. Some Christians are well known for the old Blab and Stab. He did this, She did that last year, 10 years ago or twenty years ago. We don’t need to go down that track or do what the world does to discredit people. We are family. There is bucket loads of information that paints a poor picture for this brother who appears to be off the rails at this point. Don’t kick him while he’s down by dragging up what he did 20 years ago. Am I the only one that feels sick about this. I might add at this point that I listened to the first day this story was broadcast and it seems to me that a big piece of the broadcast where details of past crimes where being aired have been deleted. If that is the case them that was a wise move in my opinion.

If you can Justify that behaviour with verse and scripture then keep it to yourself because I don’t need a reason to bring up the past wrongs of Christians going back 18 or more years. This pastor is in Jail, of his own doing it seems, But the last two mornings I have listened to the same storry on the same program ... not once did I hear a plea to pray for this pastor and his behaviour. For his saftey in jail. For opportunities to minister in jail. for the holy spirit to convict him of wrong doings. For the peace and well being of his wife and children who’s daddy is not with them.  Say what you will about this matter and current issues that have led to this present situation ..... but leave this pastors far past alone long enough to pray for him, his wife and family, his friends his neighbours, his ministry and the fall out from these things. Again, there are bucket loads of things we can pray. Leave the Blb and Stab far past stuff alone.

I sure hope I don’t hear this topic or my views attacked on the agenda when I tune in again tomorrow. Time is short .... We are family. Don’t kick brothers. This pastor needs prayer and good brotherly love and support even though he has lied and deceived as you put it. Almighty God knows what he is all about and still loves him. Still forgives all of us when we stuff up. But if you believe the grace of Almighty God is getting thin there is a problem. Almighty God’s grace and mercies are sufficient for us. Do we extend Grace to brothers and sisters that have a past that does not meet with our approval from long ago. Is the grace that we extend to others unconditional od does it have a qualifying period of 18 or 20 years before we don’t blab it all over planet earth. The world does that sort of thing ... we have no need to support our views with main stream news articles on this pastors criminal record or my past wrongs or your past wrongs. Wake Up Christian and get real ...... I don’t want to see this rot from my family in Christ. Blessings to all my family in Christ. Exciting days. Lets be about our Fathers work and leave satan to his own work. We have no need to part of it.
