The Cost of adding a GAY Spouse to a Government Healthplan.

 

Ths COST to the taxpayer.......my calcualtion.

 

Soooo....the cost of healthcare, as we all know...is going up.

 

MY monthly premium went up around 10% this year.  How about YOURS? 

 

 

US Congressman BARNEY FRANK got married this weekend to his "long term gay partner" (2007) who is 30 years younger than him.  (I'll leave out all my commentary on this....)

 

I was looking online at (as best I can)  "spousal health insurance costs for a NON-post office spouse.

 

By my calculation, the cost to the TAX PAYER has gone up by $230 per bi-weekly pay period for his gay husband in this plan. 

That comes to around  $6000 per year. 

 

In and of itself, this doesn't seem like much.   But think about this:

 

IN EVERY Company and State, where a gay-spouse can NOW be AUTOMATICALLY included for the health care plan, WHO then pays for this coverage?

 

1) The company may now be forced to pay for some/most of that cost.Depending on how they share costs with the employee.  Will the company pass this cost along to the consumers of their products?  What do YOU think?

AND / OR

2)   ALL the employees in the plan will see their premiums go UP even more along the way......

 

BTW, getting married REQUIRES the insurance company to pick up the coverage, if elected-due to this life event, WITHOUT consideration of health history.  Soooooo.......  even if they are SICK/ILL/WHATEVER..... they will be covered. 

Question:  WHO bears the cost of this coverage then?  THE INSURANCE PLAN. 

Question:  So, what MUST happen to premium costs to ALL members in this plan in the year(s) to come?  Yes, the premium cost to both the emplyees AND the Company will go....... UP!

I don't know about YOU.....but I ALREADY PAY TOO MUCH for my coverage.....with a BIGGER AND BIGGER deductible over the years..... uGH!!

 

Here...again....the gay agenda WINS.....and I / we LOSE!  

 

How do you think the Catholics feel about paying for this???   They are ALREADY (rightfully) up in arms with what is being forced down their throat under this new Obamacare package..
