"London Olympics and the Golden Ratio"

John and Doves,

Jacques Rogge, the 8th Presidentof the International Olympic Committee, speaking at the opening ceremony,
made special mention that London is the only city to have held the Olympic Games three times.
1st - 1908
2nd -1948
3rd - 2012

1st year gap = 40 yrs = 5x8
2nd year gap = 64 yrs = 8x8

8+5 = 13 8's from 1908 to 2012, just 4 years over the century.

64 divided by 40 = 1.6 which is very close indeed to the Golden Ratio of 1.618.

The difference between 64 and 40 = 24 or 3 x 8.

And God is in control of everything.

Keep looking up,

Phil.
