Hi Doves,

 

I'm expecting the Lord to call us home  this Friday the 20th of July 2012, on the correct Day of Pentecost, also known as the Feast of Weeks.

 

"...on the Day of the first-fruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation..." [Num.28:26]

 

The Feast of Weeks [Pentecost] is the Day on which all those who are first-fruits, are going to be gathered up into heaven, to worship the Lord.

 

Worshipping the Lord is what is represented as "a new grain offering" in the above verse.

 

However for worship to be accepted by the Lord, it must come from living in holiness [which is, abstinence or marriage] and from the practise of righteousness [which is, doing good to others]

 

 

The Feast of Weeks is called "the Day of the first-fruits" because  on that Day, all those who make up the Bride of Christ, will finally be revealed!

 

All those who are first-fruits acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Everlasting Father in the flesh, now glorified, and also obey His Word.

 

These are the only ones, in the Church, who are receiving the Holy Spirit today!

 

"...we also who have the first-fruits of the Spirit...eagerly waiting for...the redemption of our body." [Rom.8:23]

 

The meaning of the word "convocation" is quiet interesting.

 

It means, a group gathered in response to a summons.

 

A summons is an order to appear in person at a given place and time!

 

I believe, on Friday the 20th of July 2012, the Lord is going to issue a divine order, we are going to be gathered up, and made to appear before His throne in person!

 

What a glorious Day that will be!!!
