An Islamic Cleric says Jerusalem is to become Egypt's capital under Mursi's rule.  REALLY?  They seem to have forgotten one tiny detail, which they also forgot in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1973, and 1982.  In the 1956 movie, "The Ten Commandments", Pharoah (Yul Brenner) said to Moses (Charlton Heston) as he handed him his staff and pointed him toward the desert, "I commend you to your desert God Who has no name".  They always seem to forget that desert God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  Silly them!

Jeremiah 31:35 & 36

"Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for light by day, and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; the Lord of Hosts is His name:  'If this fixed order departs from before Me,' declares the Lord, 'then the offspring of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever.' "

Empires that have persecuted the Jewish people through the millennia have come and gone into dust, yet the Jewish people remain!  And after over 2600 years of not being a free, independent nation, Israel returned in 1948, and despite many wars against her, her flag, the Star of David, still flies!
