Could the destruction of Damascus be connected with Pentecost fully come?  Isaiah 17:4 refers to that day, and Isaiah 17:5 speaks of corn (generic grain?) being harvested in the valley of Rephaim ( the valley of giants southwest of Jerusalem).

 

Why a specific location and a specific day (that day)?  Also, Isaiah 17:6 mentions gleaning grapes and a few remaining olives.  Could this be the harvest time of spring wheat?
