Respectfully, the bible disagrees with you.
Revelations 4:1...........After this I looked,
and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice
which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking
with me; which said, Come up hither,
and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Respectfully, this is a voice that sounds like a
trumpet to John that is talking to him. It is telling
him to come up here and I will show you things that must
be hereafter..........
Marilyn, this is obviously an angel that is to show
John things to come later on.......thus, the word hereafter
is used. John was given the gift of going into heaven in
the spirit and was shown the throne of God. The entire
chapter 4 of Revelations is a detailed viewing of the
throne of God. There is NO rapture mentioned in this
chapter.
Revelations chapter 5 is talking about a book that no
one is worthy to open. It is sealed. But there is one
that is worthy and it is the Lamb....Read:
verse 5.........And one of the elders saith
unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of
Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the
book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
6...........And I beheld, and, lo, in the
midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the
midst of the elders, stood a lamb as it had been slain,
having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven
spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
7..........And he came and took the book out
of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8...........And when he had taken the book,
the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down
before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and
golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers
of saints.
Notice here that the elders had vials which were full
of the prayers of saints. The singing in verse 9 is coming
from the 4 beasts and the four and
twenty elders. Now continue verse 9...
9...........And they sung a new song, saying,
Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals
thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us
to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and
tongue, and people, and nation;
Notice here that the 24 elders are the ones redeemed
unto God. They are part of the government of God and
under them are the 144,000 that are the rest of the
firstfruits and they to are redeemed unto God and
the Lamb. Read:
Revelations 14:4..........These are they which
were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These
are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These
were redeemed from among men, being the
firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. Continue:
10...........And hast made us unto our God
kings and priests: and we shall reign on
the earth.
Notice here elders continue by saying they will be kings
and priests' and shall reign on the earth. Read:
Revelations 21: 6........Blessed and holy is
he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the
second death hath no power, but they shall be priests
of God and of Christ, and shall reign with
him a thousand years.
Do you see the connection between the elders of
chapter 4 and the 144,000 in chapter 14? The 24 elders
are made up of the original 12 patriarchs and the 12
desciples. Under them, you have the 144,000 from the 12
tribes, 12,000 from each tribe of the House of
Israel.
These are the firstfruits, and we are told this
plainly in revelations. Jesus was the first, the
bridegroom. And the 144,000 are the bride.
They are seen together in Revelations 14: 1.......And
I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and
with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his
Father's name written in their foreheads.
They all have the Fathers name written in their
foreheads representing the taking of the bridegrooms
name.
Revelations 7: 14.......Are I said unto him,
Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they
which came out of great tribulation, and have
washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of
the Lamb.
The tribulation runs clear through to chapter 14: 14,
where the rapture takes place of the multitudes the
entire EARTH IS REAPED!
Marilyn, The wheat harvest (RAPTURE) does not happen
until Revelations 14: 14 ! In this verse, the Son of man
is plainly written as the one doing the harvesting,
sitting on a white cloud! Verse 16.........And the earth
was reaped! The WRATH of GOD does not begin until
Chapter 16! ALL are taken before the Wrath of God! But
we WILL suffer tribulations and persecutions! It's as
plain as day to me, and I hope it is visible to many
others as well. We are to prepare our selves because of
what is coming on the earth! FEW are those that find the
narrow path, as in the days of NOAH...........
