"Concerning the concerns of one who is concerned about hidden things, i.e., mystery unlocked"

Hello, John and Doves,

Here's what you need to know, Keith.

It is written,

"LAMED.  Forever, O LORD, thy Word is settled in heaven."

Psalm 119:89  KJV

Moreover,

"NUN.  Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

Psalm 119:105  KJV

Understanding the Word:

1.    "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter."

Proverbs 25:2  KJV

2.    "The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law."

Deuteronomy 29:29  NIV

3.    Jesus speaking:  "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."

John 14:26  NIV

4.    "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."

James 1:5  NIV

This has been an introduction to individual inductive Bible study.

____________

Basically, there is no substitute for reading and meditation, since God knows the meaning of His word.

It is written,

"Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account."

Hebrews 4:13  NIV

A good way to begin:

In other words, when you have a question, ask the LORD first.  Then, holding the question lightly in your mind, without bias as to the answer, begin to read the Word.  When you get to a relevant passage, you will be asked in your spirit to stop and meditate.  A good way to meditate is to focus on one thing--the Cross, while allowing the Holy Spirit to speak another scripture or vision into your mind and heart.

Sometimes, you will have to leave it with the LORD.

    "4Delight yourself in the Lord

and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5Commit your way to the Lord;

trust in him and he will do this:

6He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,

the justice of your cause like the noonday sun."

Psalm 37:4-6  NIV

Baruch Haba B'Shem Adonai!

~Blessings,

Mike C.
