Monday's weather forecast of temps around 85 degs. is going to seem cool after so many hot days in the upper 90's and 100+ degs.  We're warned to stay inside.  Like winter when it's so cold and still, it's the same now when it's so hot and still.

   The more I think of the 'now' from reading Judges, Ch. 2, today, how God was so angry with Israel because of their behavior, nothing is less true today in America's behavior toward God.
For instance: Judges Ch. 2 and several verses.

An Angel Appears to the Israelites
Judges 2:            (The word America could be substituted with the word Israel.)     

"And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
.................................but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?"

 "Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you."

   "And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that He did for Israel.

    We know GOD will NEVER EVER forsake ISRAEL. America was BLESSED as long as they worshipped and followed our LORD GOD OF Abraham, Jacob, Isaac.
