I think Babylon is Babylon on the Euphrates.

 

The verse I saw a rectangle of light on in a darkened room was Jer 50:2. It says, “Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.” This is talking about literal Babylon near the Euphrates River.

 

Jer_46:6  says, “Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates.”

Jer_46:10  says, “For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.”

Jer_51:63 says, “ And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates”

Rev_9:14  says, “Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.”

Rev_16:12  says, “And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.”

 

The only verses I have found that talk about the USA are given below.

 

1Ch_17:21 says, “And what one (echad, united) nation (i.e., the United States) in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?”

 

2Sa_7:23. It says, “And what one (echad, united) nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

I have studied this material almost exhaustively for the last 18-19 years. R A Coombes who has spent the last 30 years or so of his life in this area of prophecy, I believe has written the book on this subject. "America,the Babylon", I read his book 7-8 years ago, and I recently purchased his updated version on CD-Rom. He produces a prophecy report called A O Report, just google and find it. I have been up most of the night, and if this drags, please forgive me. There are numerous scholars through the years who have done in-depth study of this material. There was a Pastor Frank Logsdin? who I have heard did a study in the 50-60's about America, the Babylon. Dr Jack Van Impe and Joe Good of Hativka Ministries did material on this subject in the last 20 years. Two gentleman have been on Trunews with Rick Wiles in the last couple of months presenting their material. John Price has written a new book "The End of America" and Allen Bonck has also written a book in the last few years "America, the Daughter of Babylon". There is a country that is described in Jeremiah 50 and 51 that is attacked from the North by an assembly of nations. If one takes their bible and reads these passages of scripture one would be hard pressed not to see America being described. This country is destroyed for many reasons, but the final straw is she turns her back on Israel when she comes under attack. The Ezekiel 38-39 invasion of Israel is from an assembly of nations that attack from the North. In Jeremiah this nation is described as the "Hindermost" of the nations. My understanding is that Rabbi's through the years, have understood this to be the last of the great nations, a young nation compared to others in the world. The Hammer of the Earth, the Policeman of the world, a mingled people from her beginning, war like from her beginning, a very wealth nation beyond comparison, who sits on many waters. The scriptures go on and on describing this nation. I have been telling people for years it is either Rapture or Radiation. I Love my Country, but I see no other way. I have chewed the "Cud" on this for years to use an ole country term. I will give the scripture references Jeremiah 50 & 51, Isaiah 13, 14, 18, 47 and 48:20, Revelation 16: 17-21, Rev. 17 and 18. There are two gentlemen who have had visions of the destruction of America, Dumitru Duduman and Henry Gruver. With all this said I have to agree with Kevin Mirasi..the decree will be fulfilled. The thing that got my attention though is the timing. Several of these scholars have the attack taking place in or around Rosh Hashanah, and we are in that time frame. It is a little over 2 months away. This is a short version. I do believe that the "Body of Christ" is removed before or during this attack. Keep Looking Up..Jesus is coming......Jimmy
