I am so with you in everything you said!I have the same problem when it comes to who is going to make it.The same exact thoughts!I am surounded by born again christians that seem to be lukewarm(don't want to judge them) and i don't know if they are gonna make it.
I have another problem too.There are Spirit filled churches(like the one i go to) that don't know that Jesus is coming back soon.When i ask or say that i feel Jesus is coming back soon they have no ideea of what i am talking about.They have visions and words of encouragement and they are into the whole Holly Spirit movement but nothing in there is about Jesus coming back soon.That many times makes me think : it's either me being outrageously wrong and out of normal or them.My husband is a christian but he thinks that Jesus is coming back in 25 years or so.He is not a "rapture soon"guy.He likes his relaxed christianity.I know he is saved but i often wonder if he is going to make the rapture.I keep asking the Lord to wake him up and give him a dream or something but instead i am the one who gets them.I asked the Lord why him and others like him don't get it (about rapture) and i think He impressed upon me some bible verses that are similar in this message:"those who have ears let them here,happy are you who see what you see and here what you hear...etc" .Sorry my english bible is pretty bad,my first language is romanian.I know my bible best in romanian.I think you have to be open....i don't know....
