THE ROD
The First mention of A Rod in The Bible is in Exodus 4:2 Moses Rod.
 Lev 27:32 Concerning the tithe of the heard,or the flock, Even of Whatsoever passeth under The Rod, the TENTH shall be holy unto the Lord.
Numbers 17:2 - 20:11
 God said; Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of Every one of them a Rod according to the House of their fathers, of All their princes according to the house of their fathers, of their fathers TWELVE RODS: Write thou every man's name upon His Rod.
These are the sons of Jacob: The Twelve Tribes listed in Rev 7. Dan was not included. He must say; " I have waited for thy salvation O' Lord."

I Samual 14:27,43 But Jonathon heard not when his father charged the people with an oath: wherefore he put forth the end of [The ROD] that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb; and his eyes were enlightened. Jonathon was rescued by the people from death.

Psalms 110:2 The Lord shall send [The Rod of thy strength] out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.( Messiah)
Psalms 125:3 For [The Rod of the wicked] shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. [ stay clean and walk uprightly in our Saviour Jesus Christ]
Prov 10:13 In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but [A Rod] is for the back of him that is void of understanding.(punishment, rightly divide the scriptures]
Prov 13:24 He that spareth his Rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.( correction)
Prov 14:3 In the mouth of the foolish is [A Rod of Pride]: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
Prov22:8 He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and [A Rod of his anger] shall fail.
Prov 23:13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with [the Rod], he shall not die.
Prov 23:14 thou shalt beat him with [the Rod], and shalt deliver his soul from hell.
Prov 26:3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and [a Rod] for the fools back.
Prov 29:15 [The Rod] and reproof  give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.
ISAIAH 9:4  The Rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
Isaiah 10:5 O' ASSYRIAN, [The Rod of mine anger], and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.[ The ravenous bird/antichrist ISAIAH 46:11 "the man" whom God calls out of the EAST]
Isaiah 10:15 as if the Rod should shake itself against them that lift it up,

Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth [A Rod] out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: ( Messiah)
Isaiah 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the [Rod of His Mouth], and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked.( Messiah)
Isaiah 14:29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because [the Rod] of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.[ that old serpent called the devil, the man of sin, the Assyrian, the antichrist, to whom the devil gives over all his power]
Isaiah 28:27 For the finches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the finches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a Rod. [instruction and discretion does God teach us]
Isaiah 30:31 For through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a Rod. [Messiah will speak and it will be done at Armageddon]
Jeremiah 10:16 The portion of jacob is not like them:for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the Rod of his inheritance; The Lord of hosts is his name. [ our Lord and Saviour]
Jeremiah 48:17 All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful Rod ! [ those who know him bemoan his comming, and know his name, and that He is ALIVE] and risen from death]
Ezekiel 7:11 Violence is risen up into a Rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain nor of their multitude,nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailling for them. [ Zech 5:5-11 wickedness, also Edom's seed will be no more "Esau" Obadiah]
Ezekiel 20:37 And 'I will bring you to pass under the Rod, and 'I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:38) And 'I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that 'I AM THE lORD.[ Israel's judgement in the last days, and the confirming of the covenant.]
Ezekiel 21:9,10 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: 10) It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the Rod of my son, as every tree. [ Jesus is the tree, we are the branches, this sword is judgement brought to slaughter and given into the hand of the slayer, antichrist a son of Esau] remember the blessing of Isaac to Esau ? you shall live by the sword.  God here is ready to bring it; by the hand of the slayer.
Ezekiel 21:13 Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn the Rod? it [the sword] shall be no more, saith the Lord.
[the seed of Esau shall be no more.]
Micah 5:1,2 They shall smite the Judge of Israel upon the cheek. 2) But thou Bethlehem though thou be little among thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel;whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting. [ Our blessed Lord Jesus Christ.]
Ezekiel 6:9 The Lord's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear the Rod, and who hath appointed it. [ The wise will see him and know it is Christ]
I Corinthians 4:21 What will ye ? shall I come unto you with a Rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness ? [ Paul writes to christians, and asks them to examin themselves as we also should examin ourselves, that we be not in reproch]
Hebrews 9:4 Aaron's Rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; [ we are the branches, and take root if we be graphted into the tree/Rod Jesus Christ]
Revelation 2:27 And he shall rule them with a Rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as 'I received of my Father.
Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a Rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. [ this ia done just prior to the power that is given to the two witnesses and they shall prophesy for 1260 days]
Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a Rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. [ The saviour Jesus Christ]
Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a Rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

THE ROD IS HE WHO WAS; AND IS, AND IS TO COME, AND IN HIM ARE ALL THINGS MADE COMPLETE.
GOD SAID UNTO MOSES, SRIKE THE ROCK AND THE WATER CAME FORTH, THE SECOND TIME GOD SAID UNTO MOSES, SPEAK TO THE ROCK, BUT HE AGAIN STRUCK THE ROCK, THUS HE COULD NOT GO INTO THE PROMISED LAND.
JESUS IS THE CORNER STONE MADE WITHOUT HANDS, THE ROCK OF OUR SALVATION, THE TREE OF LIFE TO ALL WHO ARE GRAPHTED IN, THE FIRST FRUITS OF THE HARVEST OF SOULS, AND IN HIM ARE WE GIVEN THE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF GOD.
