"Romney in Israel -
9th of Av - WHAT IF?"
We know that
when the Isaiah 17 prophecy comes to pass that Syria will
attack Israel.
Israel fights
back and wins and Damascus is destroyed but, Israel also
suffers loss.
Isaiah 17
4
And
in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory
of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh
shall wax lean.
5
And
it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and
reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that
gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.
6
Yet
gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an
olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough,
four or five in the outmost
fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.

What if this
happens while Mitt Romney is in Israel on Tisha B'Av?
The article that Spoely posted on 7/14 says that he will be
there on July 29 to eat with Netanyahu that evening when the
fast is broken, but I wonder if he will arrive the day
before on the 9th of Av.
Looking at the
follow verse, this war will begin in the evening. What
if Romney is there and the attack begins on the evening of
7/28 (Av 10)?
14 And behold at eveningtide trouble;
and before the morning he is not. This is the portion of them that
spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.
What do you
think would happen if Romney was "taken out" in this type of
scenario? Would there still be an election?
It would
certainly start a war. Think of the Russian ships
already there and more headed in that direction and the U.S.
has been increasing their presence in that region. I
see a lot of possibilities here that could bring the U.S.
into war and it's citizens under martial law, and other
countries will be drawn into this, too. There's also been
talk about an attack at the Olympics during this time.
12
Woe
to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the
noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the
rushing of mighty waters!
13
The
nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and
they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of
the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing
before the whirlwind.
It's just a
thought that I had; something to consider.
